Habit #2 – Begin with the End in Mind

Objective: 

Students will become familiar with the habit language and will learn what the goal is.

Watched: Berenstain Bears Go Up and Down

Questions:

• Who was not beginning their trip with the end in mind?
• How can you tell?
• Who was beginning their trip with the end in mind?
• What was something the kids wanted to do that helped keep the end in mind?
• Was Papa Bear able to enjoy the trip? Why not?
• Were they able to complete their goal of the fishing trip? Why not?

Then,

We related it back to how we act in school. Our goals in school and what things can stop us from meeting the goals. Students created a football goal post or a soccer goal.

Everyone shared their goals and their plan to accomplish goals.
